The church is the corporate agency through which God establishes His Kingdom on earth. The Home Group is the most basic expression of that agency; a family embassy, if you will. It is a place of safety, restoration, community, refreshing, instruction, encouragement and authority.
Every believer is commissioned by God to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth. Home Groups are the front-line supports where people can go to give and receive love, form lasting, intimate relationships (including children) with the Father and one another, worship, pray, minister and be ministered to, and be equipped to advance the Kingdom of God in the particular arena God has placed them. They are to be open groups where new people are made to feel welcome and loved.
Home Groups are not an add-on ministry of the church. They are the church. They are living organisms or cells (designed to multiply) as numbers and available leaders warrant. We encourage every member of the Body at Grace Covenant to be actively involved in a group.
